The Multiplex Gaming Community has been around for a decade. Many of the original MPX'ers played together in other gaming groups and have been together for almost two decades. These MPX'ers have stories. The MPX lineage comes from a long line of hard core players of all game types and gaming platforms. It's time we share these stories.
Multiplex Gaming was initially formed by fathers and their sons. Multiplex Gaming was born to be a safe gaming environment where we controlled the website, the voice comms and even the servers we played on. The term "MULTIPLEXER" is where you take multiple inputs that are then combined into one common output. Multiplex Gaming crosses into many different game types, different game platforms and into different game genres. Once someone wears the "MPX" tag they are part of the Multiplex Gaming Community forever. The gaming community is full of different personalities and we have had our share of personality conflicts. Those are the stories that are going to be shared along with all the good ones.
So what the hell are wickets? Wickets are small doors within doors or next to doors. They are also the little gates in cricket that are defended by a batter. Lastly they are also the hoops in the game of croquet. So hopefully you will get the metaphors when is comes to "Multiplex" and "Wickets".
Podside Podcast is the official podcast of the Podside NetworX. This podcast was born in 2013 and was active until 2016. After a couple of years of hiatus, it is back!!!
Originally, the podcast was intended to be a compilation of videocasters, podcasters, bloggers and broadcasters that came together once a week to talk about the great game of EVEONLINE. It was to be ran by the community media and not one person. Needless to say that didn't happen. S8 Radio (Section 8 Radio) was the initial hosters of the raw audio files and over time S8 Radio became Podside NetworX. Podside NetworX became the official media outlet of the Multiplex Gaming Community.
The Podside Podcast was a virtual bar room that game developers, VIPs/In-game Personalities, media personalities along with other regular guests all came together to talk and rant about EVEONLINE. It was always heated and spirited due to everyone being so passionate about the game. Each episode was a minimum of an hour and went as many as four hours. It started as just one episode a week being recorded, however near the hiatus, three episodes a week were being recorded.
The Podside Podcast sabbatical has come to an end. All the prior episodes have been archived and will be made available for download. Although Podside is back, it is going to be different. Podside is looking for a fresh clean start. Hope you enjoy!
Podside NetworX is a community of podcasters, bloggers, videocasters and broadcasters that generate content and showcase it here on podside.net. Much of that content is based on video games and their communities. All content is recorded in a talk radio or audio book format. Podside NetworX supports the small and little to none experienced content generators to those that are well versed in all different media formats and heavily experienced.
Our community here hopes you enjoy the content provided here and that you experience meta gaming at a whole new level.
